What kind of tactics are you using for your full backs? Seems a bit logical that this is the reason they're getting sent off.

I just won the Johnstones Paint Trophy.  Came back from 2-0 down at half time to beat Tranmere 3-2, with the winner coming in the 86th minute. Seven points clear at the top of league two, looking good to win the title with only 7 games to go. Just signed a new contract as Swindon manager and they will only give me a wage budget of 19k and transfer budget of £36k despite the club having over £1m in the bank. This Teemu Turunun is superb, bargain at 20k. Need a decent goalie for next term, cheap wages and preferably less than 10k. I've used Phil Smith in every game this season and he is solid enough but I'm not confident he'll be capable of this sort of form in league one. Any ideas? |

I got Trevor Carson in from Sunderland. £2000 I think. Seems solid enough but he's only 19. Might get in an older keeper aswell.

I'm very very angry currently. My team (not edited apart from getting rid of Wise, Poyet, & ince and putting P Smiths wages down to £650) is so fucking inconsistant its unbelievable. When I turned it off on Sat afternoon before the real game, I was 9th just before christmas, although the league is really tight and I'm only 6 points off top.
I lost 3-1 away at stockport, having been 3-0 down at half time. I went apeshit at the players because they were shit and clearly deserved to lose.
Jamie Vincent came out after the game and commented that he didnt like my management style and that somehow deservedly losing 3-1 to fucking stockport was acceptable.
So i fined the cunt 2 weeks wages and transfer listed him for daring to question my authoitaaaah. Now the whole squad is unhappy with me. I get the feeling I might get sacked before the end of the season unless I can "do a romanov" and get rid of those who defy me and replace them with more talented versions with fewer opinions. the cunts.
I hate not doing well on FM. I won the bastard champions league with STFC on 06 for fucks sake. It would seem my slightly totalitarian management style is perhaps less suited to 07.

Sounds like my current season. Started off well and was unbeaten in seven with five clean sheets.
Suddenly have been unable to get any sort of run going, unless you count consectutive defeats.
Cup wise I'm doing ok, got knocked out of league cup by Man City in the third round and in the semis for the Paint Pot thingy and 3rd round of the FA Cup.
Need to review my tactics as looks like another relegation battle is looming and the only bright note was getting Super Sam back as he was rotting away in Luton's reserves.
He did bag a hat-trick in one match and is currently my leading scorer with a massive 8 goals. Town fans are fearing the worst as we slip down the league and are just outside the relegation line.
If only I could snap up some decent players instead of these 33 year olds that the Spanish clubs keep trying to offload on me.

Had to play Jonathon Stewart in goal against Watford in the League Cup.

not quite yet... sitting 4th at the minute still, falling away from the lead group as i've had jutkiewicz, brownlie and jake hyde as my strikers for the past 3 matches... dj campbell is back now tho, so thats not too bad... still missing 7 of my regular matchday squad tho, which is shite!
