I remember the hat-trick against Leicester in 91 well when we beat them 5-2. He would be in my Swindon Best 11 any day.

Didn't know he was a boozer either. But then I was about 11 when I watched him play, I probably had other things on my mind. I remember that rocket away to Blackburn in the 1990 play off semi. I was right behind it all the way. Just thinking about it brings a smile to my face. Beautiful.

I have that goal on video somewhere; was a beauty!

Not in the same class as the Blackburn goal but a belter nonetheless was his strike at Bournemouth in 88/89 (we won 3-2). I think he was Player of the Season that year.
