ah but is it a coincidence that just a few games into my Pook is the ROCK campaign he scores his first Swindon goal in 51 appearences??

No, because he scored against Wycombe last season.

I've not rated Pook in the past, for large periods of last season he was largely anonymous and rather rubbish. I suppose it didn't help playing at such a young age in a crap side but he's clearly learnt shitloads from Wise, Poyet, Ince and perhaps even Evans. He's been immense of late, at least the games I've seen anyway.

Being able to admit you were wrong and changing your opinion isn't fickle.

good performance, took our chances and created plenty

Grimsby werent good, but we've faced worst and not won so meh!

Mr. Ian....you're talking rubbish

thankyou

you can be happy with a average performance but im holding out for better.

Grimsby were shite, but so is the whole fucking league...that performance was probably enough to beat 18+ teams in this wankhole league

I think its a bit disrespectful to condemn an entire league.....its something the Scum regularly did and look where it got them.....its axiomatic that the standard is relatively low as its populated by impecunious, generally poorly run clubs with low crowds, of which, we're very much one.

What is of more importance to consider is that the shower at the helm of the club are more than capable of taking us to leagues below this....lets enjoy it for what it is while we can.

There's also comfort for them in running with the crowd and just  joining in with the current "pub player" opinion - its a vent for frustrations.

Who's turn will it be next?

Nicholas - 100%  Cheesy  Wink
He wasn't just a pub player. He was the antichrist who caused the relegation.

No but he was fucking rubbish more often than not.

It's the same with Pook. He'll get the recognition if he earns it, which they're both doing now.

See what I mean about myths. Brentford was a one off and in no way reflects how he'd been playing.
He is the same player now as last year. Same fitness. Same attitude.

It was far from a one a off...

Ok, he never played as bad as that during the season, but he was still pretty awful like the rest of them.
