Yesterday showed how good a keeper he is. Will be a shame if he's out for too long. This might be the last we see of him if he is.

Looked nasty on the telly earlier, could be the last we've seen of him in all honesty...
Smith will get his chance which is fair enough but we need some cover, you can't go a season with only one senior keeper and a youth player as backup.

Agree we need a loan keeper as cover if he is out for a long period.
This mans Smith gets his chance but we would not be wise to go with just a youth keeper in reserve
Somehow i cant see Mr Diamandis agreing to any loan moves though........

Quite the contrary. Short term loan deals and temporary players with wages part paid by other clubs is right up Diamandis' street.
Im sure we will get another goalie. Its just that it wont be permanent (which is what we need now) and he probably wont be a patch on Brezovan.

You are right Spencer. This was proved last season and largely led to our relegation.
Bet Dunwoody didnt go without tho...

You gotta ask 'why', though ... considering this bloke isn't on the board. Surely approval would come from Wills/Wills Jnr/Carson? I know I'm not living in the real world, but I'm still asking.

Because Diamandis acts on behalf of Wills/Wills Jnr, he is their advisor and Sandy Gray and the now departed Bob Holt are/were on his payroll. I wont even justify the Carson bit You should know he is fuck all by now. Diamandis has total say over STFC again now. As for Brez, good point Simon Pieman. It is a loan deal. But a year loan, with a fixed fee to buy. Thats far too clever and far too much forsight for a Dunwoody deal. And Im almost certain if Power had stayed we would have taken up that option, but thats all up in the air now (and was before he got injured too). I predict a constant stream of short term mercenaries, most of whom dont give a fuck.

TBH, the quality of keeper doesn't really matter a great deal in this league. Like yesterday, if the opposition doesn't get a shot on target it ain't going to trouble us.
On the other hand, Brez is a great shot stopper and will be hard to replace.
