News reports he had over 400 flight hours behind him, so clearly some experience. Also, believed the only other person to perish was a flight instructor - thankfully nobody in the building was killed, although >20 people were injured. Remember the plane crashed into a residental apartment block!
Does still beg the question regarding flying light aircraft very close to heavily populated areas - I can only guess at some sort of technical problem, but will scour the 'professional aviation' forums for info later. Better get back to work :x
