Did alright in that pre-season under King if I remember rightly but didn't quite make the final cut.  Funny one as he was tipped for great things at QPR and then dropped off the radar after that trial with us eventually ending up at Cork City.

Pre-seasons are never a good indicator, but I remember him playing v Wolves and looking half-tidy. Saying that, there was some lad from Newcastle, Adam Green I think, who came on at the end on the right hand side, and he ended up doing not much at Hereford.

And Grant Smith missed a one on one at the end.

That Sammy Igoe will be ace one day too.

Was it the same pre-season we had Luke Nightingale on trial as well?

My mind has fermented and rotted away.  

He was top goal scorer last season in one of the lower non-league sides fact fans.
