Was it Brian Kilcline or Adi Whitbread that taught him that? I jest, it was probably Keith Scott or Andy Mutch.

I'd have him up front at 70 years of age with only one leg, no arms, trying to figure out how to put his 4 inch glasses on his one remaining good eye over having Peacock and Roberts at the minute! Jan was truely THE MAN! :king:

Is it the sands of time deforming my memory of the event or did Jan nearly open his Town account at home to Liverpool in 93 when he backheeled the ball over his own head and volleyed it onto the bar from about 30 yards? I seem to think Grobs was beaten all ends up and it was about 6inches from being one of the best goals ever. I suspect he missed a two yard tap in, but this is how I remember it?

Silky Steve McManaman scored a hatrick in that game!!! Wasn't a brace? Ruddock, Whelan and Marsh got the others (all prolific  )
