....didn't see the full line up here and not sure what the reason was for them being there , but on the subject of strikers, it was good to see Keith East and Dennis (Bullets) Brown out there.

  Its a strange feeliing knowing I'm one of the few in the TE who can recall these players.   East had one excellent season,  saw him score 4 in a Cup game v Merthyr, then follow it up with 5 v Mansfield a week later....Brown I saw score 4 at Bormuff....all from range.

 Bronco Layne, was just before my time....but he was a a class player with Sheff Wed, but got caught up in the match fixing saga and was banged up.

 Bronco Layne was a popular TV western of the time.

 Ernie Hunt....was a seriously good player.

I was in the exec suite today - all the old players were in there they are trying to get them all back together about 4/5 times a year apparntly.

Ernie Hunt came and sat on our table - he is so sweet and a bit nuts - I want him as my grandad!

I used to work with Terry Woollen at BMW (back in the SPL days). Fucking top bloke, looks well, wouldn't have minded a quick catch up.

I remember them Reg-Keith East was married to a beauty queen-seriously good looking unlike the wags that pass for beauties these days!Keith Morgan was a proper hard man unlike the pansies that pass for hard men these days
