Didn't they used to be called The Icelords or did I imagine that? Anyway I might go and see them if they were Lords of the ice but as it is they're just cats lacking guidance.

I like decent ice hockey i.e. NHL. Went to see a Philadelphia Flyers game when I was in America. It's amazing how huge those guys are and how hard they hit each other!

tonight i was sat by the 'noisy' lot, about 3 drums, a horn and about 10 people chanting. Was abit annoying. There was even a fight, nearly was but got broke up? thats no good. Also Swiondon didn't even score, thats rubbish.

Its alright though, i'd go back again, but not anytine soon probably.

Isn't the hugeness due to padding underneath the voluminous shirts?

Hence why they hit each other.

Why do these teams have to be the Philadelphia flyers or the Swindon wildcats? Why can't they just be Philadelphia or Swindon? I mean it's not as if the Swindon team actually consists of wildcats, and I'll wager the Philadelphia lot can't fly.

nPower Swindon Wildcats actually.

I think

I used to enjoy going when I was little but haven't been for a long time. They used to be called "The Chill" and possibly the "Ice Lords" although I'm not entirely sure. Wildcats is quite a recent thing I think

Partly. But they're also fucking massive. Take Flyers new signing Derian Hatcher for example- he's 6' 4" and weighs 244 pounds. Imagine getting twatted by that.
