What a shit player.  Totally inactive.  Can't be arsed to chase anything down.  Roberts will be lucky to score 5 goals this season, let alone the 20 which gives him a holiday

I'm also starting to lose patience with Peacock.  Sure he works his arse of for the team, but i'd muc rather have a Mooney who fucking knows where the back of the net is.

All the following players have scored more goals individually then our supposed best front two strikers

Jermaine Easter Wycombe 7
Gary Roberts Accrington Stanley 7
Martin Butler Walsall 6
Barry Conlon Darlington 6
Tommy Mooney Wycombe 6
Mark Stallard Lincoln City 6
Jamie Ward Torquay 6
Chris Dagnall Rochdale 5
Jon Daly Hartlepool 5
Julian Joachim Darlington 5
Izale McLeod Franchise 5
Clive Platt Franchise 5

Only way forward is to drop both Donkey and Peacock and give Brownlie and Onibuje or  Lutskiewicz and Onibuje upfront.  Alternatively look on the loan market for a player who knows how to score a bloody goal

Funny how during pre-season some people kept on about how much happier they were with peacock than the championship's fifth top scorer

I said it after the opening month- too many on here were thinking Roberts is the great reformed, whose going to tear the league apart.

Well a leopard never changes it spots so to speak, and he's fundamentally a lazy waste of time.

I can't agree that Roberts is lazy, yeah so he's not a natural finisher, but how you can label the guy lazy is beyond me.  At Wycombe the way some of our fans expect a bloke to be sprinting around after lost causes, in the 92nd minute is crazy.

Put the ball near him and he'll chase it.

I also cannot believe how quickly some people change their views on players, a month ago all of our players were super heroes, now half of them are lazy so in so's.

Come on fella's were going through a bit of a rough time, let's fucking support the blokes rather than pick them out individually for a slagging off.

Roberts still looks more likely to score than Peacock.

I think that is spot on.  WE had the rub of the green in the early season in some games (last minute screamer against Barnet, I thought Darlo were a little unlucky after Joachim came on at their place and the less said about Pools away...).

So, we play poorly?  Not as if everyone else is sprinting away is it?  Wycombe lose again, Dons struggling to stop leaking goals, Lincoln inconsistent.

Good news is we dont leak loads of goals becasue we have tightened up.  I never thought that Peacock and Roberts were going to score loads.
Anyone for a season of 1-0 wins?Huh?Huh??

agreed, we have a few games without a win and people are getting on players' backs.

Come one people, we'\re still second, and that despite one win in 5 and playing poorly. That has to be a good sign - the important thing is we return to playing foot football again.

Agree with the poll though, I think Brownlie is a good player and a natural finisher, he could work well of eithjer fola or peacock, maybe stick roberts out on the right?

People have also started to say tey'd never work in a parnership - they did pretty well at City!

Key difference there - service from the wings - Aaron Brown when he was good and thought he might be something one day, so was out to impress the scouts week after week, and Scott Murray who was running rings round people. Then you had Tinnion who was the best centre mid in the division by a country mile.

But saying all that...they are mssing hatfuls.

Whats my point again?

i didnt think there an ideal partnership from day one if im honest, but thought its probably good enough due to the shitness of the league.
