Not been officially released but play.com accidently put a link to the download above their pre-order bit. Not sure if it's still there or not, but I'm upping it now if anyone wants it.

Have a try of that. You have to change the hxxp to http at the start. Stops this site from getting traced back to.
It's only 6 months and doesn't have any pictures in it, but it's pretty hotshit. The match engine is very good and the scouting system is FANTASTIC.
Let me know if it doesn't work, I'm upping it on yousendit too, but that'll be another hour or so.

Doesn't it normally work on both? The box says both on the front... Yes, it does, but you can't load the windowz exe code on a Mac machine - there's a seperate version on the CD. Don't worry, I'll grab it down when it's realised later. |

This game is the fucking business! Everything that they have added is immense. There are a couple of bugs that I have noticed but overall it's fantastic. I won't get it until around Christmas so that they have time to release a patch to sort some of the things out, though. I've set up a feeder club and I am the feeder club to Villa. Pook was pissed with me for setting up Evans as his mentor/tutor but Lukas loves that Peacock is his mentor. Any good staff youhave will get nicked by a better club within the 6 month game limit for sure unless you offer them a big contract, and the prices of players is a bit silly. I've not been able to buy anyone I want yet, but there are a few people on loan and on frees. The match engine is awesome. Players stats in general have come down a bit so if some one is quick, you really notice it in the game, and the high stats make a BIG difference. I love the controversial incidents now too. I scored 2 goals where I was clearly offside but the ref gave them. After the game you are asked your opinion and can review the incidents. I didn't get a penalty in injurytime away at Grimsby and Robert went mental at the ref. I sent the tape to the FA with an official complaint. |

just had a quick 30 min run around, and i am impressed.
its a lot more flowing than 2006, the one thing that annoyed the living hell out of me in 2006 is the constant "Continue" "Processing" "Continue" "Processing" etc etc.
I belive the release is 20/10/06, preorder on play for only 25.99

have they put in an option so you can tell players why you are sending them out on loan....or are in the reserves
I remember many moons ago I put Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink in the Chelsea reservers because he'd been out injured for 6 months and he was annoyed I didnt treate him as a first team regular...
I should have been able to tell him its purely for match fitness

Just downloaded this and have been playing for an hour or so. The only thing that has really bothered me so far is that Phil Smith is our highest paid player, on £6500 a week and there is nothing I can do about it. Releasing him would cost me over £300,000 and he refuses to take the £6000 a week cut I would like. Signing players is nigh on impossible due to the lack of funds he has created. :roll:
The feeder/parent clubs bit is pretty good, I have West Brom as a parent club. The board are still looking for a suitable feeder club for me.
