I dont think wise will leave just because of that, but it could be one of many things happened if he does go.
To me it sounds like hes committed himself in private to the board but is now pissed off that they've made it public. If he was committed though why would he be angry at it being made public. i can understand privacy and all that but surely he wants the fans to know whats going on?

maybe he thinks it would have looked good to his squad if the had seen in the news that rumours were linking him with a move to a bigger better club and then he came out in his own good time stating that he would not leave as he was focus with his players and wanted to achieve something with them....for morale as a town player that would be a nice boost to morale when its needed......at the minute the way it came out though Bob seems to have perhaps let this out in the wrong way? (maybe) Hence in theory taken the boil off the morale booster and he reacted badly to it all as he was pretty p1ssed at the end of the game last night. Thats what I make of it anyway but I could be wrong.....

I guess it is quite undermiming. You want to have authority and to be in complete control of the team stuff and then you have some old bloke on the board making a stupid statement. Perhaps Wise had planned to let the team know later on that night or maybe he hasnt committed himself yet and BH is trying to put pressure on him to do so.... I Just hope all this bollocks can be cleared up pretty soon.

I've just seen the video clip of Wise ... it's worth watching on Points West tonight (or on the website after if you miss it) ... he looks maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad with Holt.

I understand Wise's annoyance but to an extent, I think it's just Holt being a bit naive and telling us what he thinks he wants to here.
Regrettably it's given Wise an adequate excuse to walk away.

Well, Holt quit in the hope the gesture would be enough to keep Wise at the club ... I think the resignation - and very prompt one - has taken that excuse away.
