clearly fola has to have a run in the side now then

roberts has been lazy recently and peacock's misses and passing were cataclysmically bad today...

brownlie, caton, lukas and fola, who'd you pick?

i'd have fola and royce in a 4-4-2 on tuesday

otherwise, thought we were piss poor forwardly today, why does EVERYONE cross from so deep rather than get to the byline? i hope aaron brown never plays for us again, i hope people who recognise his effort now recognise peacocks a carthorse and i hope wise doesn't go tactically beserk again

to be fair the officials fucked us today as well but i'm very underawed. but hey we're 4th, roll on fucking tuesday

Not so sure about Brownlie myself. Looked a little lost at times today, but in fairness he battled hard and held the ball up well. Would like to see how well he does if played right up there rather than dropping off in the hole, but would start with Fola & Roberts, our most dangerous players. Would also like to see more of Lukas, little point in bringing him on for 30 seconds at the end of a game.

Wise has an embarrassment of riches (at this level) to pick from up front. Still hasn't found the right pairing for me and needs to experiment whilst the season's still young. We MUST score more goals if we're really gonna do something this year.

I think Roberts should play the role as super sub, as his pace and energy with 20 minutes to go could become a menace to teams.

Would like to see Fola and Brownlie upfront, with maybe Peacock playing behind as an attacking midfielfer.  I know Peacock hasnt been hitting the back of the net,  but like most other people on this forum, i believe the commitment and attitude Peacock has in every game must make him a starter.

Nice theory, although Fola would be more suited to that role as he is faster isn't he?

si's right, fola would - in theory - be far more suited to the super sub role as he's quicker, stronger and more likely to "scare" teams with his presence.

roberts is without doubt our best striker, but he needs to realise that if he doesn't get the service he wants he can't let his head drop and his effort lessen. i think being dropped by wise will give him a kick up the arse in that respect.

in some ways, peacock is a carthorse. whilst i can't comment on yesterday, he's probably our most threatening player at set pieces, as per chester away. he's not got much flair or skill but makes up for it with hard-work, effort and honesty. i get the impression he's lacking in confidence, as is roberts.

i'd still start fola on wycombe even though i didn't see him yesterday, solely on the basis he scored. i'd chuck roberts up front alongside him in place or peacock, or perhaps even jutkiewicz.

I would stick with one of Roberts or Peacock up front and have Fola up there too. Brownlie looked good in pre-season but didn't impress me massively against Brentford or when he has come off the bench more recently.

Something needs to be done to unleash Roberts' ability because he has not shown this division what he is about yet

The officials cost us the game.

Peacock's effort looked over the line.  It even hit the bar on its way out as it rebounded up.

Good passing football got players running free from onside positions several times but the useless linesman flagged them. No certainty that they would have scored but ....
