I suggested that on the Trust site.

though he would have to sign them over for a while or the trust would have to shake a shit load of buckets. It would certainly wind the board up to have a fans rep up there and we would possible know more of what was going on.

never happen though

depends who hold all the other shares....if the trust could get them all on board...it would be a start...narrow it to three...wills family, power and trust...

I'm sure the reality is that the wills wernt thick enough to allow a situation like that to arise.

does he really own any shares, certainly a share that big? surely it's something we'd know about?

I said Bob said he did.  I got sucked in earlier but since then I've considered my general dislike of Bob and his skills in the media so I've become less certain of that as fact.

I'm not suggesting Power didn't give the money, just whether he got shares for it?  Seems unlikely given the figures previously banded about for SSW's shares (£10m).  Just doesn't all add up, yet again.

What’s the score with this holding company then anyone?

Mentioned before but I’d be interested to know if it’s just a shell in place to hold funds from investors away from creditors and for the stadium development or if it has more of an active role.

You’d have to hope that any shares issued to Bill weren’t in the holding company.   :|

that sentance really made me laugh Soapy Tit Wank

Power MUST have got shares tougth, surely???  From a business point of viwe he was mad to get involved with STFC to strat with. If he put £1m-£1.2m in and got fuck all in return he should be commited!  Judging by his personal fortune he cant be that thick, can he?

Piemonte, this part of the whole sad affair caught my eye as well.

Surely it cant be as simple as pay off the other £2million and you have control cos where does SSW get his £10M back from ?  BUT if £2m gets you control the TRUST have a start (about £25K last time I saw any figures I think) IF bloody huge IF mind 2000 fans spoof up £1000 each you take over ?

Has anyone actually read the article properly?

All it says, after reading it for about the 100th time, is that Bill won't be able to fulfill his role in the running of the club.

It doesn't say anything about him taking his money back/selling his shares. Just that he won't be taking an 'active' role. To me that sounds as though he's still investing, but he'll let Devlin do all the donkey work.

even his sole reason for walking away was that he felt the accident was life changing enough, why would he then not want his money back?  Even if they were shares he'd probably try and sell them.

Would you keep your money invested in a business you no longer had any association with, and one that was in the process of cost cutting due to cash shortfalls?

exactly Rob. if he is cutting all ties with us then he is going to sell his stake (assuming he has one) can't see why he would keep it tbh
