I think after having 1 bad game he should be stretched on a rack and put in the stocks for a week.

Hes been one of our best players this season.

Indeed. Roberts is the current player of the month after all. Sure, he didn't play that well on Saturday, but he only had one decent chance to score (unlucky to hit the post) and was clearly frustrated.
The problem lies in midfield, no real creativity and a distinct lack of service from out wide. Wisey needs to sort that out first, which if he does, will lead to Roberts menacing defences once more I'm sure.

Roberts' job is to read moves, get in the box and be in a position to finish. He hasn't done that enough. Drifting out to the touchline or back to half way takes away options for our midfield or full backs. That's why we're increasingly ineffective going forwards.

It was the effort where Fola ran clear on the left wing, cut in and had to play the ball into the middle, Roberts should have been at the edge of the 6 yard box, he wasn't even in the area was he? That's basic stuff, christ all of us know where to be in that situation, why the fuck could Roberts not see that?

Worked a treat today.  Onibuje seemed to cause Notts County many a problem, and i hope he plays next week against both Wycombe andBoston.

Can't say i went to the game, but by all accounts on the radio Onibuje ran around, looked busy and hassled the defence and scored a goal.  I doubt Roberts would have had a similar impact if he started.  If Roberts started, he probably wouldnt have scored, and we would have lost,  so in a way it did work

sigh

the fact is we all listened to it on the radio

shall we not bother second guessing events in nottingham at the word of some mindless fools with microphones?

did you even go today? it worked as fola scored a fucking mint goal and caused mayhem at times, whereas roberts, after one early snapshot, did piss all. again.
