what a shit boxing match. i don't know anything about boxing, so can someone tell me why they allow holding? all it seems to do is stop the action. the person getting punched can just pull the other boxer into him so as to stop any decent rally of hits.

not as bad as harrison vs williams though, that was woeful.

The holding in boxing is what actually takes up most of a boxers energy and is a very clever tactic.when i was young i used to box i would hold for the 1st 2 rounds then the next 3 rounds just box.if you was fitter you would win simple as that

But in some fights they hold and then break but still stay very close. They're very exciting matches because both boxers box on the inside and you see lots of punches landed.
