Alexander scored a sort of looping header if I remember. Actually I might be remembering a different Alexander goal.
I was at the back of the nationwide and completely launched myself down to get on the pitch.

I remember being sat at home listening on the radio. As soon as the own goal went in I turned it off and went to sulk.
Turned it back on to check the final score at nearly 4.55 and somehow caught it as the goal was going in! I went a bit crazy!

A brilliant goal, made even better by the fact that Rovers cocked their 3 last games right up!
I tried to get to Stoke for the last game that season, but the trains were rubbish (again), so I went to see some mates at Aston Uni instead.
