Anyone bought any good albums recently that they want to recommend?  Have just bought Kasabian's latest offering which, to be honest, after the hype is a bit of a let-down.  It's good, but I think I prefer their first album.  Maybe it's a grower...

Cannot fucking wait for The Killer's Sam's Town I have a raging stiffy over this one....  When You Were Young is a fucking choon.

Also banging one out over The Paramour Sessions by Papa Roach, though I don't think it'll top Getting Away With Murder.  (Yes I know I'm 13, but I like bands who are fat....)   :|

Final thought - why is The Feeling's first three singles so great, and yet the rest of the album so wank?

I know there's the Sound and Vision Forum but hardly anyone reads that...   Cheesy

New Kasabian album > first Kasabian album.

FYI, not of the Feelings songs have been good.

Oh come on, Never Be Lonely is ace...  though maybe that's my womanly side coming out, though surely that's the same bit of me that likes Phil Collins?

can't stand him.

i've been listening to the late J Dilla's 'The Shining', very nicely produced hip-hop.

I downloaded the new Kasabian a few weeks before its official release and i thought it was pretty average but after a few listens of the proper cd i think its ace, esp 'By My Side'.
