Wow, some people really do bear a grudge against a team for scoring against us.  Its almost as though they didnt know we had a pre-ordained right to win that game.  What bastards.  I have never really felt the need to be angry at an opposition team for beating us, more disappointment and sometimes anger at our own team for poor performances.  Im not sure we should take a late equaliser as a personal affront.

I don't hate the guy because of that game. I just hate him generally. Much like John McGinlay, Robin van Persie and Phil Neville.

Thats fair enough, I'm not a fan of his either.  Some people do seem t hate Brighton for beating us though, and really seem angry about it.  Im not sure you can hate a club for beating your own.

It wasn't just the defeat . . . it was the behaviour of their fans after the final whistle and the shit gorund and the rain and the bloody long throw and the Mooney keeping it in the corner and getting tackled and the lack of justice in football and cunting Virgo arrggggggggggghhhhhh

Did you go to the game Doore?

I hate Mcghee more than Brighton though, hopefully he'll never work in football again.

I was there, and yes I hated the last minute goal, the ground, the rain.  I didnt really notice their fans after the shootout, I legged it as quick as possible, didn't want to stick around any longer than I had to.  My point is that as much as I hated the outcome, it is illogical to blame and hate the club itself.

I wasn't there. But the on pitch celebrations and sheer heartbreak of it all is enough to leave me bitter and twisted for all eternity!

Likewise for Bolton in '94!

I was there too  Crying but unlike you Doore[you hippy freak Wink ]i now hate Brighton with a passion  Of course its illogical but hey thats football, its like that sometimes, there are some clubs you just don't like.Supporting a football club would be a lot less exciting without a bit of good old fashioned hatred.
