Why do Ireland have a sponsor on their shirt yet no other international team does (to my knowledge)?

i think only the replicas have a sponsor on them, my shirt does anyway but it's a few years old

on a related note, my irish team won their first league game of the season yesterday after 21 games

Yeah, I used to wonder that. They had Opel on their shirts for ages. Maybe just in the friendlies as Sonic shows they didnt have it on last night.
