Dunno what time Tails left home but I picked him up from Bristol Parkway around 2:50 - we then basically did a 10-hour drive with a 45-minute break in between to watch some football (edit: actually, thinking about it, as I left work at about 2.30pm and got home around 2.30 am, make that 12 hours).

Got stitched by tailbacks on M5, then decided to "cut through" Worcester. That was the big mistake - spent two hours sat in stationary traffic in the middle of a convention of extras from the League of Gentlemen. Then cross-country to Wolves, onto M6 for a bit before that slowed, then cross-country again to Wales (more or less).

F**k it though, like Tails says, well worth it to see the second half - team were immense, fans were immense - We are Invincible!!!

And we saw Paul Ince coming out with his lad - nearly cut him up, actually. Tails "papped" him! But I don't think the pic will come out.

Well I have to say well done for persevering! And I guess you got yuor reward!

The worst thats happened to me was 10 minutes into Ashton Gate when Dukey got sent off and we won 2-1. The coaches got stuck on the motorway.

Unless you count 20 minutes late in that Pompey friendly, but I wasn't all that bothered!

Think it would be after 30 mins gone at Newcastle in the infamous cup game.....class 47 hauling the special broke down outside Brum....took a while to organise acouple of replacement locos, who then thrashe it to newcastle in about an hour and a bit.   Couldn't have happened with a privatised railway.

We then wasted a further 5 mins, when some  :wanker: go tin a strop because someone was sat in his seat.....fellow fans tried to explain that it hardly mattered as there were spare places and folk were sitting anywhere. , but he insisted on getting stewards etc to move this fella.

At this point it was 0-0......we lost 5-0.

I'm really hoping that's not code for something. And if it is, I don't want to know

I left home at half 11, went to town for a bit then got a bus to Bristol at 13.40...

I thought Worcester was fairly entertaining, we got a nice porno puppet show and we saw a Jade Goody lookalike. I wouldn't advise anyone to ever go pulling there....
