he did say he loved the fact he hadnt done a pre-season this year which was worrying, but did stress he was looking at going into coaching.

Seems, like Wise & Poyet he seems more interested in the coaching than the playing...

ince just said about swindon that he would be looking to play 10-12 games to keep his fitness up and then said 'well, i haven't picked my timing for joining have i as there doing well'

he might want to play a dozen games, but it's not upto him how many he plays.

even so, if he signed tomorrow it'd take him a month to reach match fitness at which point there will only be 30 odd league games left. wise is keen on squad rotation, so i'd be surprised if he played every game until the end of the season even if he was fully fit and injury free.

They've definately had 2 decision dates that have passed prior to this Wednesday.

The rumour started getting major press on the 28th July. It's dragged out but it's good that it's coming to an end.
