Wasnt overly keen on the signing at first as i didnt know much about the player but did some research and looks like it is a good signing.

A friend of mine who seems to know about these things said pretty much that.  Quick as a flash, but couldn't hit a barn door.

I've seen quite a bit of Martins in Serie A and he's a useful player, no mistake...whether he'll do much for Newcastle I doubt....
