What a fucking thug he is. Mendes is in hospital tonight and the culprit has got away with not even a one game ban, but because the ref only booked him he'll get away with as technically the issue has been dealt with. Disgusting.
Think what Royce Brownlie was sent off for last night, not even a one millionth as bad as Thatcher's "challenge". Wouldn't be surprised if Mendes sued him for assault.

Haven't seen this challenge, but FFS he knocked Mendes unconcious! Just watched the PL highlights show from the w/e and he clattered Ferraira pretty hard on Sunday as well (for the free kick that Terry scored from). Psycho needs to sort him out, and fast.

Talking about referees though, obviously how he gacve him a yellow was stupid but refs in the first two games this season in the premiership have been awful.
