His (Keane's) comments in his autobiography about "teams like Swindon" pissed me off - even though he could've been right.

Obviously their handbags fight during the 2002 World Cup is water under the bridge... Unless it was a Keane/McCarthy issue.

And what was the reason the horrible Cunt gave for that comment?.

It was interpreted like this...

-shitty teams like Swindon (two other teams mentioned) only raise their game because we're the mighty Man Utd...-

- No shit Roy Keane. No shit. It just grinded my gears when I read it.

Wasn't it a knock at less talented players, suggesting if they put the effort into every game that they did against Man Utd then they'd be better players, so why couldn't/didn't they do it all the time.

i think Sunderland will struggle with him in charge. no experience, lack of tactical awareness. will motivate them though

I like Keane, quality player, a man who's not scared to say what he thinks, 2002 World Cup prime example.

If he does get the job Nov 25, away at Wolves will be like fight night.   Sky should put it on box office and Don King should be the promoter.

Brian Kidd is expected to be named as assistant, I think the two of them working together will do a good job. Kidds got plenty of experience from his days with Man Utd, Leeds and blackburn. I remember Keane saying something like Quinn thought he was "fucking mother teresa" after constantly reminding everyone he donated his testimonial money to charity.
