That's fair enough adje - and I agree that at this moment on the playing side of things, we're doing more than fine without him and wouldn't want him to walk into the side and disrupt our winning run (bar Brentford)! However, the experience he will pass on to our younger players in training will be invaluable! With Wise, Poyet and Ince passing on their pearls of wisdom, I think you'd see our young players (especially the midfielders) come on leaps and bounds!

Well I think he would make a qood side considerably better so I really hope he signs and can't understand why anyone would either not want him to sign or not care whether we signed him or not.

Agreed. I dont see why the onrunning sage should be disruptive to the squad either. If anything it should act as a motivating factor to the likes of Pook & Holgate whos places in the 1st team squad are most at risk. Evidence of that on tuesday night perhaps when Ashan put in by far his best performce in an STFC shirt?

I honestly don't think he'll sign. If he does, great. If not, buh!

Hmmmmm. This has taken a new twist. Before I thought, no rush - if he comes then great. But the fact wise wants ANOTHER midfielder if he doesn't means there is more urgency given the deadline is 1 week away. http://www.swindontownfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10341~887666,00.htmlDennis Wise spoke to the press at lunchtime and gave the latest news on the possible arrival of Paul Ince to The County Ground ranks. Experienced former England midfielder Ince did not take part in training with Town on Thursday, although Wise is still hopeful that Swindon can add the Guv'nor to his squad. "Incey couldn't come in due to personal reasons so that's why he wasn't with us today at training, but we are still hopeful that he will join us. "I am hoping to speak to him later on but we will have to wait a little bit longer. If he doesn't join us then I would still be looking to bring in another midfielder," said Wise.

I predict its another right winger.
Gurneys second operation means Shakes is the only cover for right back currently, as well as being the only "natural" :!: right winger at the club.

Will that mean a lifeline for the mysterious paraguayan man whose name is a conundrum of "Todrigo Runes"?
