If I start off with £8,407 and it goes down to £6,591, what's the % change?

1816/8407=0.216

0.216x100=21.6

Think thats right...

it's correct. you could also do it this way:

6591/8407= 0.784

1-0.784 = 0.216 or 21.6 %
