i think QT was an executive producer, which, in this case, means that he took a bit of money to put his name to the film for promo. he did something similar with "hero" (jet li), which was bought up by miramax, stored on a shelve for ages while kill bill 1 + 2 were being flogged, then rush-released with QT's name in front of it (because he liked the action in it, apparently, but had nothing else to do with it) before "house of flying daggers" came out and stole most of it's thunder.

hostel was great, although it did take me two watches to get the whole weird gore/self-depricating comedy combination. the film basically takes the piss out of itself.

and tarantino is the don, although as has been said he had nothing to do with the film apart from putting his name on some posters for some bucks.

I know I'm weird like that. I suprised myself because I've only ever cryed at one film and thats titanic, I'm usually a tough nut I am. The bit where that young boy was getting his head stamped on and died and at the end and when the main character died, crikey it really moved me Sad

Yeh the green mile is horrible too. Thats the thing, I only really get emotional when I know it actually happened or used to happen.

When I watched a documentry on the hillsborough tragedy I cryed.That was horrible.
