I just looked on SwindonBet (bet365) for the odds for tomorrows game and noticed that Fola Onibuje to score first and Town to win 1-0 is 14-1, whilst Christian Roberts to score first and Town to win 1-0 is 23-1!!!!!

Someone on that site needs to do some research I think!!

Il have a bit on that! Roberts and 2-0 at those odds would be a superb bet.

I think I can see the sense in that.

Roberts starts. 1-0, 20 mins, Roberts. We have to hang onto a 1-0 and not score again. That's hard.

Roberts starts. Nil-Nil 75 mins. Fola comes on. Balls pumped forwards fola scores, 1-Nil. We only have to hang on for a small amount of time.

I think what they're saying is if you're going to win 1-0, it's more likely to be Fola who scores. With Fola scoring there will, in all likelyhood, be less of the game left to play and roberts probably won't be on the pitch.

If roberts scores first, you'd hope there would be more goals in the game.

Also, rochdale have only had 1-nils so far this season.

I think that makes sense in a strange way. :?

I don't know! I was just guessing! I don't even gamble, unless you class poker as gambling.

I'm glad you put that smiley in the second post otherwose i would have been tempted to get really angry... Which comes easy to me! Smiley

Maybe it's to make roberts and peacocks odds seem more attractive?

Kind of a perception thing? If they were top maybe they would appear less attractive. You know, stick a few unlikely scorers as favorites, then it makes those with less intelligence feel the odds offered on the cock and roberts better?

Oh i don't know! :throws a strop: I'm gonna go and pick on some old people.
