I'm sure many of you will agree that James Bond is the coolest film character ever.  Last night in the pub a mate challenged me to name all twenty Bond films up to but not including Casino Royale.  Its harder than it sounds, without internet cheating etc.  Try it next time you are in the pub.  Took us quite a while.  Honestly, its more fun than it sounds.

Roger Moore was in....

For your eyes only
Moonraker
The Spy who loved me

Timothy Dalton was in....

The living daylights
Licence to kill

Pierce Brosnen was in......

Wow, you and your friends must have had a wild night.

I don't like James Bond films. If you've seen one, you've seen them all.

Bond almost gets killed, Bond saves World, Bond gets girl....

Just for once, I would love to see the cunt die.

To be fair, sitting in the pub with quite a few pints and a few mates is more fun than what most people class as a wild night, which in my experience involves drinking shit drinks, paying to get in to place packed with pikeys, and fighting on the way home, stocked up with the obligatory traffic cone.  Yawn.

Technically speaking 'Casino Royale' should be included in the list as the 'original' was made in 1967. See below:

Thats a fair old point NMH.  Does this mean that David Niven should appear in any debate about the best James Bond actor?  (Not that he's win, obviously.)

David Niven was never a Bond and Casino Royale was not a bond film (in my book anyway)  :x

I'm reserving judgement on whether to accept Daniel Craig as a Bond yet as well....

In case you don't know....which I'm sure you do Ian Fleming is buried in the churchyard at Sevenhampton....which if you doon't know, but I'm sure you do is betwixt Swindon and Highworth.

Not a lot to see really, other than a gravestone with a bit of an inscription.....I quite like a good graveyard.
