We need a prolific striker this year who will get 20 goals plus, in the mould of Lambert from Rochdale or Yeo who Peterborough have snapped up.

Roberts and Peacock are 2nd strikers- they are  not prolific and i cannot see either getting 20 plus goals

Normally I'd trot off and find Yeo's scoring record for you but I can't be arsed, suffice to say he would not have been a good signing.

As long as the midfield chip in with a few goals then i'm sure we will be fine.  Peacock is a hard working player wjho will score 10+ this season, and i personally think its only a matter of time before Roberts scores - and then scores shit loads.  Its too early in the season to judge the strikers

Yeo's record looks better than the reality as well.  Most of his goals came in one season of football 2004/05.

Nobody would deny Lambert being a good striker, but he said he didn't want to move to us and he costs money.

Our main problem is the midfield.  Pook and Weston are good players on their day.  However they are both still young and a tad bit inexperienced.  Ideally we should play Weston with Evans/Wise Ince (if he signs), with a view to sending Pook out on loan for a year .

Who the fuck do you think you are coming out with comments like that?

I could understand if he started a "what's your favourite sock colour?" thread but he didn't.

I think you should apologise. Yes
