Cheesy  Hello. I will be arriving in Swindon to work at Swindon football team. I do not want to be bored so what good things are there to do in Swindon. Also things that are cheap. England is soooooooo expensive. Thank You.

Watch the team.  Apart from that, the trend in town appears to be to get pissed and fight.  Its lovely.  Try old town for nicer pubs.  Nowt else to do really, but this applies to most places in britain, not just swindon.
