not that you really care, but.....

was good fun tonight. ronaldo got booed every time he touched the ball, but went on to score two. solskjaer got their first with a great half volley, possibly the best finish i've seen live. ronaldo wacked one in the top corner from 20 yards and our keeper couldn't hold fletchers shot, making it 3-0 by half time.

then came the magic. possession won on the half way line and a backheel to burgess. drifted wide of his man and curled a wonderful cross to the back post, met by duffy with a thumping header.

then ronaldo got another with a tidy finish. overall a very good night and a good effort from our lads. fergie had some nice words:

"It was an excellent work out for us, and we played well and scored some good goals, but credit to Oxford because I thought they played well. You can see from the crowd what could be achieved here and that Jim has got them on the right lines, and we wish them well. I'm sure they'll do very well."

their team was

foster
bardsley
heinze
fletcher
o'shea
silvestre
ronaldo
jones
solskjaer
saha
richardson

their back line looked very vulnerable to crosses, aside from the one we scored there were 2 other very good chances. saha was lively.

Had Fergie been on the Whiskey?.

Of course there's going to be a crowd, 95% were there to watch Man Utd.
