he was alright, showed some good touches...but still looks mega slow.

Not best midfield, that was probably Evans again.

Although Weston was better in the 2nd half

weston looked pretty good to me.i thought both our left sided players were a little dodgy but i aint gonna cast judgement on them yet.shakes apart from his goal was poor-average.evans did well and pook didn't really do to bad and delivered some decent dead balls but dont think he and weston should be the cetre mid pairing as they dont have the experience to do the job together.
evans should start with weston on saturday

it's easily evans and weston who should be the central midfield team. and hopefully evans can shout at monkey to try to get him to be a winger, and shakes to stop dropping off too much when their full back has the ball

Monky comes inside way too much. Don't know whether Wise has got them playing narrow, but he's leaving Vincent wide open at times.

the whole team is too narrow, but i think that's how wise wants em to play. when we were defending throws on our left shakes was in the left third of the field. i know it should make us harder to break down but i think that's erring too much on the side of caution. it was the same all throughout pre season and especially at hartlepool.

we're massively narrow and our wingers don't close down..they back off

Monkey I thought was one of the poorest players tonight!

Ifil was solid, Evans was attacking and fighting for the ball.......superb.....roberts looked like a different player to last season and Brownlies goal was just incredible.

Fantastic attendance too....

has improved on last season, some great headers and some timely challenges but i am still nervous of him.noted he gets sent forward now for set peices instead of standing on the half way line.dennis obviously likes him

Monkey is the best option there at the moment, and not too bad, but could improve. He's an average player whos giving average performances at the moment.

Agree Evans should start, we've looked better each time he's come on...

Still not convinced about Weston, I'd start with Evans and Pook and use Weston as the impact substitute...

monkey did ok, but he gets pushed off the ball quite easily.  He ain't scared of going in for a good challenge though, that is what I like to see.
