Our midfield is totally lightweight and was totally overrun on Saturday.

If we are to challenge this year we badly need a Wise/Ince type player. I fear Evans may not be the man

Whalleys injured isn't he, and Evans needs to get back to full match fitness...

The only thing thats lightweight around here is your brain as clearly it has a lack of content/useful information.

There have been rumuors that we've been trying to get hold of a player called Wise, I reckon we'll get outbid by someone though, typical of our board to miss all the decent players available to League 2 clubs.

Without wanting to break a trend of dissing this guy, I agree (slightly)

They were 4-3-3 on sat and our 4-4-2 midfield seemed to be outnumbered (although the 3rd striker was deep/AMC position).

I'd like to see Monky making a few more tackles, and the Shakes been a little more aware of players going really wide of him. Mark a little closer. That said when Ricky caught them, he tackled really well.

Curtis Weston seems a more attacking option and when things aren't going our way, maybe substituting in an Evans/Gurney character would be better.

both pook and weston will come good, i'm sure of that under wise and poyets guidance.
but shakes i am unsure about as he lacks the basics and has a poor touch. also what the hell was he doing leading up to that first penalty saturday?looked like a catalogue of errors from the tv footage.aint seen monkey or evans yet so i cannot comment on them

Jez, lets all slate Bart...lets ignore the fact he has a point. Hartlepool battered us.

Though I think Paul Evans will fit the bill, he did a good job Saturday when he came on...will be even better when he is in better shape

he does have a point, however its not about this particular post...but all his posts in general. theres a feel good factor at the club at the moment but this guy has had nothing remotely positive to say on this forum.
