Second allegation after the Ashely Cole incident surely?

The question is, will anything be done or just fade out in time>? Points deduction would make an interesting start to the Premiership but doubt anything will happen.

THe financial penalties dished out to any club these days mean nothing. £2000 fine to Real Madrid??? "Here, take it out of petty cash!"

The problem is, or as some people perceive it to be, is that docking points punishes the fans as much as it does the club.  I myself am all for docking points, but the above argument does hold some weight.  Personally, I reckon they just shoot Peter Kenyon, Roman Abramovich and Jose Mourinho.  Problem solved.

It has to be points/bans etc. Even if they were to receive a suitable punishment, they would just appeal and get it overturned anyway, therefore proving pointless.

I'd imagine they would try and pay members of the FA to prevent any evidence.

I'm begining to hate all premiership teams and supporters.  I'm running out of clubs up there that I think, "I hope they do well this year", Everton maybe.

Arse no, Villa, no, Bolton no, Chelsea no, Blackburn, no.... the list continues in a similar format.

Why should they dock Chelsea points just because they have some money? Surely the punishment should be the same whether it is Chelsea or Everton, say, doing the tapping up.

I think the punishments in Italy are no way near harsh enough though as well, after the appeals anyway when you consider how serious the corruption was.

I thought chelsea were already on a suspended 3 point deduction from last seasons allegations anyway?

After all the appeals it has just turned into a giant joke really, I thought the Italian FA had finaly stood up to corruption but it seems that was just an act and that they are the spineless idiots I thought they were in the first place.

Obviously the punishment has to be consistent across the board.  The trouble with fines is they would hurt some teams more than others.  That is why it has to be points, as points could damage a team like Chelsea, by interrupting their title challenge, as much as it would hurt a small club like ours.  Fines would hurt us but not Chelsea. Ergo, it is only fair and logical that the punishment has to be the docking of points.
