About to sign one year deal at carlisle. I thought he was going back to fulham to take on the premiership?? still respect is due for that goal against city

no, fulham wanted him to go back so they could send him on loan to a championship club....the next step up from us....didnt quite work that way

fair point but i think the flash(es) of brilliance and the fact he was at a premiership club in the first place combined with dennis wise getting the best out of players and being in a divison below would point towards a good signing.

Means nothing really though.  Hundreds of players start with premiership clubs and get nowhere.  Jamie Slabber anyone?

Saw him on Saturday in Carlisle 0 - 3 Sunderland

He looked ordinary in an ordinary team....
He'd have been better in League 2 with us again...
