I'm not sure anyone's ever made my bum moist.

On a related topic though, I did try some moist toilet tissue the other day (it was on offer). Can't say I felt any cleaner mind.

Fjortoft - legend.

Parkin - not legend.

i never saw fjortoft play and i've only been regularly coming to watch swindon and been aware of what's going on since about 2001, so for me parkin is a legend of sorts.

i can perfectly understand why people with longer memories would disagree though!

jan aage was the best striker ive seen play for swindon by an absolute mile

chris hay had the potential to come close to JAF but got completely fucked over by injuries. he was technically a far better footballer than parkin on the deck, but the latter's goalscoring record for swindon simply speaks for itself

I saw Fjortoft and obviously Parkin... I have to say when Fjortoft finally got scoring he was phenomenal.

Shame that both strikers didn't enjoy success at Swindon - Fjortoft had the League Cup run (possibly the Prem campaign) and Parkin a Play-Off season but as a team we didn't do much.

That's probably why they're loved!

I probably saw a higher percentage of Jan Aage's games than I did Parkin's, so I'd always go for him.  I remember his hat-trick against Coventry when he'd just found his touch, two against Norwich including one that I thought was the most graceful header I'd ever seen at the time, and the beauty against Millwall in the cup followed by hitting the bar when attempting Le Tissier's free-kick.

I still rememebr him counting out 3 fingers in front of the bank after the hat-trick. I was only 7 or 8, but that is one of my favourite Swindon memories ever.

Fjortoft's header against Norwich, enough to give you a boner for life!!  They should bottle that goal and give to to blokes with erection problems.
