Ok we were all disheartened to say the least at the end of last season, but was it REALLY a bad thing?!
We would not have Wise We would not have Poyet We would not have an uber-fit squad We would probably not have a piece of silverware

Yes I think there is every chance that wise will get us relegated out of the league.

Of course not, we're in this spazzy nearly-non-league division with a trip to fucking Accrington to navigate. Relegation a blessing, no. A chance for a clean slate but still not good enough is it.
The first Premiership team to sink so low. Let's have a round of fucking applause and pat each other on the back shall we?
Rant over

Yes just because it allowed us to rebuild and clear out those who didnt want to be here, also Wise has come in and got the players fit which is something that they didnt seem to be last season.

I used to hate Dennis Wise, but I love him already. Yeovil does too, he's just likes being the evil general

My point exactly. This season I will (hopefully) be able to take pride in the passion and commitment of the team, which is the only thing that ever got to me last year!

Getting relegated into the lowest Div of English football is an unmitigated disaster...we will be on Ceefax p. 326 along with the scum.

I think Wise would have been brought in regardless....even if Iffy had kept us up.
I think deep down, everyone knew the changes were needed and they would have happened anyway

I honestly can't see where the thought process would have been for the board to change the manager. Had Iffy saved us from near certain relegation he would have been seen as an ideal man for the job in their eyes

Definately not, this league is a cunt of a pork chop to get out of at the first attempt and if you really want to read it that way the performance of teams going down against those going up in the last 10 years points to a standard as good as what is now league one anyway.
Good case to rebuild and all but I'm sure we could have done that in league one.

Wouldn't we have had an equal chance of getting wise, relegation or not.

Would we have sacked Iffy Onura and brought in Wisey you mean?
Lord I hope not, as much as I'm enjoying the Wise era I'd have got the man's name tattooed across my lamb rapier if we would have stayed up.
Well the Iffy bit anyway.
Man’s a gent. Dealt a losing hand and did what he could. I can’t judge him off the back of last season and there’s no way to gauge what he might have achieved this season.
