wouldnt surprise me, do that have to supply evidence of their valuation? if so like devlin said they have a strong case due to the fact he was our captain at only 23 and was offered a three year contract whereas swindon take the cautious aproach with contracts and usually offer a year or two at the most.
were still get riped off though.

The tribunal will compensate us for the loss of a talent we helped develop.
The value of his wages for the past few years will be taken into account, and I presume from the way we've been talking so will our contract offer to him.
A lot will depend on how much we have shelled out to him over the time he has been with us.

Can't see us getting more than 100,000 to be honest. Last season when akinfenwa(sp) went from torquay to swansea, torquay valued him at 350,000 but he eventually went for roughly 40,000. Good to see we're trying to get as much as possible for him though. Where the hell are MK getting all this money from though for their signings and wages? Thought they were fairly poor

On a side note, what would happen is O Hanlon was valued at £500k and the Franchise couldnt afford the fee ? Would he come back to us?

I'm glad Mark Devlin is setting the fee so high, we seem to have a strong case so hopefully we can get a bit of money for SeanO
Realistically we all know he isnt worth anymore than 100k at a push, so hopefully we're going to fleece the dons big style.
As janaage said, I hope there isnt any video evidence used at this tribunal....as Sean O'Hanlon was fucking wank last season

Would he come back to us? as it's a tribunal and Franchise have already signed him in the knowldge that there will be a fee, i should imagine they'd be forced to pay it or suffer sanctions on further transfers, fines and such like. |
