Am I the only fan of our Monty at the moment?  Everywhere i go, people are slating him.  He doesn't have as much experience as Giles, but will be as good if not better.  Give the lad a chance, and let him perform...

He's a good bowler and i personally think he has the backing of most true England supporters, will get better as time goes on.

he can bat a bit, nowhere as good as giles but he's not absolutely useless with the bat. not a true number 11, you could say.

monty always seems to get a big cheer in the test matches, he's becoming a cult figure very quickly.

good bowler, giving his best (shown by his celebrations at getting wickets), will definately get better with time. but time will tell if he will play down under

anyone wih a first-class average of under 10 is a true number 11

giles will come back in for him when fit

If he can learn to field it would help his case I am sure.

Decent bowler though
