Perhaps he can't see a future under Wises management, is too lazy or thinks Swindon are too lowly in the league structure. Seems an odd time to leave if it is the latter though?

never mind, no big loss.

If he wants to leave; then let him.

We only want players who are committed to the club.

IMO, brown wouldnt be a huge loss.  hes just a better version of ricky shakes, who is one of the worst wingers ive ever seen play for STFC. average player + no commitment = goodbye

no its not, in the leagues there are far more squad players than first teamers. the difference between brown and quality squad players is that he hasnt the bottle to stay and fight for a place. get rid

but he has had that at qpr and bristol city.
with monkhouse, shakes, weston, rodrigo (maybe) and brown all going for places then i can see why he would want to go.
the fact is by wise bringing these wide players in must seem to brown that wise does not rate him so why stay?

just trying to see it from his point of view rather than everyone say he is a cu*t just because he wants to leave

Shame really, as i thought he was a good player and it now means Wise has to look out for yet another new face to fill the gap.
So we now need: Another keeper, another centre back, another left midfielder and possibly a centre mid.....
Like i said on the other forum, maybe its worth signing up this Rodrigo player as he can play either left midfield or upfront, so that would be a bonus. He also sounds a good player from what i've heard from people who attended the FGR game.

you cant judge a player on one pre season friendly! wise has a limited budget so its essential who he brings in wont be a waste of money

at the end of last season he said he was too good for lg 2 and that was before wise was even appointed.i really wouldnt bother trying to look at it from his point of veiw.if he is afraid of competion then we can do without anyway

We know that the majority of our squad aren't good enough for L2....so it will take Wise a while to identify and get rid of the wasters.....at least Brown is looking to get out, as opposed to sitting around doing jack shit and collecting his wages....not sure there'll be many takers mind.

I'd expect to see a good few fall out of favour as the season proper starts....which is why this season will be transitional.
