£55ish on the exchange rate but they normally stiff you a bit on the chip rate.

JUst checked and that's actually dead on with Laddies to.

Perfect example of a fish at my table just now. Raises to max pre-flop with Ks 7s and wonders why he loses

Fucking hate loose cocks like that, they're why i periodically give up and restart again!

I've just finished my usual late night session of poker and checked here to see if Zola had been announced yet. Oh well...

I don't think i can use ladbrokes as i use royal vegas which is Microgaming software like Ladbrokes. Is that right?

Saying that i don't particularly like the software anyway.

Has anyone tried Poker.com?

I regg'd a few months ago and you get free entry into a $500 freeroll everyday for first week and entry into a big thing at the weekend if i remember correctly. That's quite a good site, although dropped to $15 and as of tonight upto $100 which is better than a kick in the teeth.

If you like loose idiots, try pacific, they give you a $25 bonus. The great thing about their bonus though, is it's real money you can play with straight away. You need to use an Affiliates link though, which if you're interested i can give you. Oh, i get $50 out of the bargain...

I use royal vegas and ladbrokes, it's pretty much the same software but you can use both no problem.

Was about $12 down today on ladbrokes, only down to a hand where I had AA, reraised, original raiser reraised all in I reraised again putting the other guy who'd called all in and he called, first one had KK, second had a pair of 10s, I was leading on the flop and the turn but there was a 10 on the river so the guy with tens won the $42 pot, so lost $17 from that hand but I've made a fair amount of my profit from similar hands so in the long run it's all good.

I've only tried poker.com with play money, tried pacific a while ago, thinking of going back there soon.

Just cashed out another $37. I might try and build up my bankroll now though and play some higher/no/pot limit games.

Had a blast at pokeroom last night for a change as my calculatem license expired and the only way to renew is to sign up on one of their offers and play 500 hands on that site.

Tried a crack and got the worst virus ever so gave up in the end and had a bash so to speak on pokerooms to get a renewal.

Not bad, although I still think Ladbrokes (is Microgaming Barry) is by far the easiest set-up to play with its simplicity.  Far too much clutter on these sites and all the fancy graphics and options do is detract from the game play.

Anyway, $40 up from my $20 stake and another couple of hundred hands to get through tonight and it’s back home to Laddies.

I don't use them calculators anymore. I found I was paying to much attention to them and not paying attention to the players and how they play.

Anyone played on partypoker? I've heard that's supposed to be good for making money.

I've played a bit on party poker. The sign up bonus is good but don't like the site much. There are some crap players but it's very busy and you also get a lot of good players, I've heard the general standard there has improved a lot over the last couple of years so it's not one of the weaker sites any more.

I had the same problem Si.   Playing far too much on the calc's advice and not really watching games properly.

Still find it useful though but more as double check before betting in case of some horrendous fuck up especially in the tournaments and long sessions where concentration can lap.  Latest version Pro knocks up pot odds and shows percentages on the next cards, which is handy for the lazy man like myself.
