Swindon Town can confirm that former Brentford midfielder was in talks with the club over a move to The County Ground.

i don't know a fucking thing about him, but it seems he turned down a one year deal with option with us to sign a three year deal with oxford.

odd.

So does he only have one name then?Huh?

He's obviously a bit of a spastic if he would rather play in the Conference than L2

We do seem to again be shopping in the bargain basement

We were assured this would not be  the case and we would be able to compete "for the better players out there" this it seems is another lie

What we were told was that we would ideally be in the market for loans and free transfers.

Which is exactly what is happening....well we've no loans yet.

It has been a kind of assumption that Wise wouldn't be takjing the job on if there were no assurances of resources....but there's no evidence of that yet.

If he had been promised, and those promises have been broken , don't be surprised if he walks.

I'd say it's a case of being astute. Why do people expect 'big' signings? This is league two, you don't need to spend to get out of this league. When the time comes for money to be spent on players aka a final push for promotion/avoid relegation/be in a higher league than this, then we should judge whether or not the board are truthful or not.
