we can blame ronaldo and the ref but we all know that the ref is gunna give fouls for dives (look at joe cole, he's learnt from robben). and we know they'll dive til the cows come home.
we've got no one else to blame but ourselves basically, we lacked any drive and intelligence

I don't recall him diving, nor did he go down when WR shoved him. There was an incident in the first half were Lampard two-footed him and got away with it.

Well Ricardo made no saves before the penalties apart from the one from Lampard's free kick, Rooney's early shot, another shot from Lampard and quite a few times he had to claim it from corners. Ricardo was their man of the match easily.
