spuddy will back me up. possibly ralphy too, tho i'm not sure if the managers are as cuntish in oxford.

i'm currently being shafted a good'un by the stand-in mail centre manager and my new shift manager, who've both shoved me back onto nightshift next week, on a sunday night start. i had a verbal agreement with the current mail centre manager (who's on holiday til next monday) that i had a minimum 6-month job on late shift. the stand-in guy was there, he knew full-well that was what i was doing, but now he's playing dumb and forcing me onto a shift i dont wanna be on. i'm fucking livid. the union cant do fuck all until we've spoken to the manager on holiday.

i hope all you posties vote yes on the strike ballot, i know i will be. i hope it fucks up the management good and proper, they all fucking deserve it. i'm so fucking angry at the minute.

its subsided a little. 42minutes have passed so its natural to have calmed down a little. i'd still like to rip off the managers head and shit in the hole tho.

I was going to vote NO to strike action until the re-sign has come in and they expect you to do the work of 4 people, put me down for a YES.

They've cut overtime and got rid of Staff yet take in their nice little profit.

And yes the current Mail Centre manager is a  :wanker:

Post office seem to lose my house on a regular basis ... and next door.

But inclined to agree with Spuddy et al, always seems to be the companies that "have to" sack people, force existing staff to work extra hours etc that then report millions in extra profits and nice fat bonuses for management. Strange that. Like Thames Water says I can't water my flowers, but it's OK for them to waste millions of gallons a week cos they can't afford to replace ageing pipes, yet the directors and shareholders are raking it in. Invest in the infrastructure before you shell out yourselves you greedy bastards.
