i don't give a fuck that he went to oxford really, so what he'd left us before he signed for them he could do what he wanted.

When you (us) are in the botom league beggars cant be choosers, I dont give a fuck who he has played for , if he comes here ,gets 20 goals and gets us promoted then i will be happy . Fuck sake people lets get realistic, we aint gonna sign a billy bollocks bigtime striker from the premiership or championship .At this moment in time we are mediocre team in a shit league .

He would be a great signing but lets just hope he pairs up well with one of our strikers and gets the service they need.

Taken from the Advertiser http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/swindontownfc/display.var.810124.0.keep_me_out.phpTown's players and at least half a dozen triallists reported for their second training session yesterday morning but despite speculation to the contrary, former Town striker Tommy Mooney was not among them. The much-travelled forward was returning from holiday abroad yesterday rather than heading for Wiltshire. After further running sessions to measure heart rates at Wanborough yesterday, the players saw the footballs produced for the first time and they enjoyed some small-sided games. 10:17am today

i dont think it far fetched im just see it as pointless talking about it seeing as though it was laughed off by the club him even being there yesterday and the adver proving it. as for children starting rumours, well he last few theads running on the adver site kind of prove my point.
if mooney joins ill admit that im wrong but it now seems we are going over old ground
nice helmet !

:| I'm torn too. Thats if the rumours are true.
He went to oxford which pissed us all off obviously, BUT thats football for you and thats it. Personally I'd be quite happy to see him back if he scored lots of goals and did well for us. Hes a decent player and has lots of motivation which spreads to other players. We need to focus on getting our arses in gear next season and getting back to league 1 where we belong and if wise believes mooney can help us with that then so be it.
