To be honest we need 2 keepers .. one experience and one young one

We need a good experience centre back with a bit of nous

We need 2 good central midfielders (assuming Wisey doesnt play!)

We need 2 good forwards .. one very quick goalscoring machine and a hard working player to cover (someone young tho Caton / Lukas might do this job)

All in all thats 7 more players

Id get Tom Heaton from Man Utd and quick!

But most important of these is the striker ... Ricky Lambert never really seemed the answer .... we are going to have to spend most of our money in this area .. well unless we can get Sam Parkin on loan for a year ! :-))(

IM pretty worried about how long its taken us to sign 2 players /... and then when they arrived they were a crocked left winger when we already have 3 players who could play there already and a duff stiker whom Cambridge didnt want ... worrying!

Because Man Utd don't like it.  They prefer experience to be gained at Championship level normally or they send them out to the club in Belgium.  League 2 just doesn't make it worth it for them, may as well have them in the reserves.

why would they need goalkeepers to do pre-season training at this stage? it's all running and fitness innit.

In recent years I believe it was to ensure no injuries were picked up while our keepers kept bending over to pick the ball out of the net.

Good to see the players sweating and all hot and flustered...

Is the cock worked to hard, or is he flustered cos Birdy's spying on him?!

Looks like Charlie was the only one that turned up, presume it's the one on one assessment.
