Their should'nt be any question about it really, ALL footballers should be ready and fit before they step onto that pitch. Its a sport, fitness is vital. Its their job. Just shows how football has slipped a bit.

think it just show how we ha slipped tbh slade.if we are serious about getting out this league then we will need to be very fit im sure Franchise will be with allen in charge

Definately. Yeah it should of been 'how we slipped' really  :?
Well its being put right now, they'll give it their best shot next season.

Yes he does. And if he does manage it I for one will be more than happy. He could piss all over this league if he recovered his past form. Just a matter of whether or not Wise and Poyet can help him acvhieve it

One of the things I'm certainly hoping for from Wise/Poyet is no more soft peddling on players who aren't up to it. I agree Roberts could tear most teams in L2 a new orifice if he's up for it, but if he's not he should be shown the door. I'm hoping Wise and Poyet will be able to convince him those are the choices - up to him then whether he wants to achieve his potential as a pro footballer or do the Z-list lifestyle thing

2 sessions a day for 2 weeks, ace that'll kick em into shape although will they be on a diet too. eating right etc.

I doubt it. It's probably split into 2 sessions rather than having one massive session.

And I'm sure a lot of it will be running and the like rather than playing and tackling which is when injuries are more likely

2 session routine should be:
am legwork, with or without ball
pm upper body, weights, gym
