I must say that the lack of cover we have at right back concerns me. With Carra being a centre-half for Liverpool and Hargreaves playing in midfield for Bayern Munchin', we obviously don't have any out-and-out right backs in the squad to cover for Neville. We have a readymade replacement on the left for Ash Cole, in the shape of Wayne Bridge, so why not right back? Where's Luke Young/Glen Johnson?

carragher was very poor at right back. his inability to beat a man (ever) is very clear and going forward he did nothing for us. hargreaves is worth a go there and some people need to give the lad a bit of a break as much of the criticism of him is undeserved and seemingly only borne out of the fact that he plays abroad and alot of ignorami haven't seen him play enough.

i agree with sven putting carrick in too, we'll be a much more balanced side and lampard/gerrard/cole will be able to get forward alot and run rings round their defence.

3 at the back sounds like a much better plan than that VD

I am disappointed with Crotch’s emission I must admit especially with the lack of height in the Ecuador side.
